Alteration, Returns & Exchange Policy
At Hemistry, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We understand that sometimes, an item may not meet your expectations or fit perfectly. Our Alteration, Returns & Exchange policy is designed to ensure you have a seamless shopping experience. Here’s how we can help:
Alterations
Customization and Fit Adjustments:
- Request Alterations: If your made-to-order shirt requires adjustments for a better fit, we offer alteration services. Please contact our customer support within 21 days of receiving your order to discuss your needs.
- How to Request: Email us at support@hemistry.in with your order number and specific alteration details. Our team will guide you through the process.
- Costs: First-time alterations are complimentary. Additional alterations may incur a nominal fee, which will be communicated beforehand.
Returns
Our 7-Day Return Policy:
- Eligibility: You can return ready-to-sell shirts within 7 days of delivery for store credits. The item must be in its original condition, unworn, unwashed, undamaged and with all tags attached. Garments must be folded and packaged neatly, otherwise the return will not be accepted.
- Non-Returnable Items: Customized and made-to-order shirts are non-returnable due to their personalized nature. However, we are happy to assist with any fit adjustments through our alteration service.
- Returns for Store Credit Only: We do not offer refunds due to the time and labor involved in creating each product. Refunds will only be processed for fulfillment errors, such as incorrect or missing items.
- Return Process: To initiate a return, email us at support@hemistry.in with your order number and reason for return. You can either ship back to us or request for home collection. For home collection, a return shipping fee of Rs 150 will be deducted to arrange for the pick-up.
- Return Shipping: If shipping back on own, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure your return is safely delivered.
- Refunds: Returns are processed as store credits within 5-7 business days after we receive the returned item.These credits can be used for future Hemistry purchases and are valid for 1 year.
Exchanges
Easy Exchanges for Your Convenience:
- Size and Fit Exchanges: If your shirt doesn’t fit as expected, we offer size exchanges within 7 days of delivery. In case your required size is not available, a credit note for the amount spent will be issued to you. The item must be in its original condition, unworn, unwashed, and with all tags attached.
- Exchange Process: To request an exchange, email us at support@hemistry.in with your order number and the size you need. We will provide you with exchange instructions and ship the new size to you once we receive the original item.
- Shipping for Exchanges: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs for the original item. We cover the shipping costs for the replacement item.
Important Note:
- No Returns, Exchanges, or Cancellations: Items purchased during sales, markdowns, or using promotional codes are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
- Inspection Time: Our warehouse team takes 48-72 hours to inspect items eligible for returns or exchanges.
- One-Time Exchange/Return Policy: Please note that a return/exchange request will only be accepted once per order.
Abuse of Policies:
- Customers that we find abuse our return, remake, or exchange policies may be restricted from making additional purchases.
